Ice Swimming

It is possible to go ice swimming in Oulu the whole winter through at Tuira beach area, address Koskitie 58.

The shower and dressing rooms can be found in the service building. In addition, during the early winter there is a separate changing room at the beach. Be careful when walking on the icy ground!

In the Tuira swimming pool area there is an electronic key system in use. The keys should be picked up and returned to the sports building (Urheilutalo), Rantakatu 15, phone 044-7038045.

With the Sports Pass you get the key for free for the whole winter. Write down your contact information to the Joint Sports Services of Oulu's Higher Education Institutions’ folder located in the sports building (Urheilutalo) service desk.
